About
Dennis is a veteran photographer who has completed hundreds of assignments for publications including the Washington Post and New York Times, and corporate clients like Google, the American Red Cross, and JP Morgan Chase. His subjects have included Pakistani snake handlers, celebrities, presidents, and mass murderers. He has won awards in the national POY competition, three Maryland State Arts Council Grants, an Arthur Burns Fellowship to work at the German magazine Stern, and two Fulbright Fellowships for work in Pakistan and Cambodia.
In 2023, after a decades-long love affair with Colombia, Dennis pulled up stakes and moved to Medellin. He has a portrait studio in the Laureles neighborhood and is available for editorial work throughout the region. He speaks fluent Spanish and passable English. He dances salsa On1, On2, and Cuban-style and thinks Bachata should be outlawed.
